Riyadh, June 9, 2023, SPA -- The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The report said that Makkah, Madinah, Eastern and Tabuk regions will witness high temperatures, while the thundershowers, accompanied by active winds will be forecasted to fall on some parts of Jazan, Asir and Baha regions, extending to Makkah and Madinah heights, as well as some parts of Tabuk, Northen Borders and Jawf regions, reducing the horizontal sight. The report added that the dust winds will continue to occur on some parts of Eastern and Riyadh regions and some parts of southern region of the Kingdom.
The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 15-35km/h, reaching more than 40km/h, with thunderstorms on the northern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be southwesterly to westerly, gradually turning northerly to northeasterly at a speed of 10-25 km/h.
