Riyadh, Jun 8, 2023, SPA -- Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Eng. Osama bin Abdulaziz Al-Zamil, received Thursday the Australian Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Tim Watts and the accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom.
Participants at the meeting discussed bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Australia in the industrial sector and the means of enhancing these ties.
The two sides also reviewed promising investment opportunities between the two countries in several industrial activities and discussed attracting qualitative investments in the sector.
Meanwhile, participants stressed the two countries’ keenness to continue developing and advancing their relations.
In 2021, Saudi non-oil exports to Australia amounted to around 2.46 billion Saudi riyals, while the Kingdom's imports from Australia totaled 5.91 billion Saudi riyals.
