Riyadh, Jun 6, 2023, SPA --The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The NCM expected, in its report on the weather, that the continuation of moderate to heavy thunderstorms, leading to the flow of torrential rains, accompanied by active winds and showers of hail, in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, and Hail. At the same time, the opportunity is still ripe for thunderstorms preceded by active winds that stir dust, limiting the horizontal visibility in parts of the regions of Tabuk, Jawf, the Northern Borders, the Eastern, and Riyadh.
The report indicated that the movement of surface winds on the Red Sea is north-northwesterly at a speed of 15-38 km/h in the northern and central part and is westerly to northwesterly at a speed of 10-30 km/h in the southern part. The wave height ranges from half a meter to a meter and a half. The sea condition is light to medium waves.
The report added that surface winds over the Arabian Gulf are westerly to northwesterly at a speed of 10-30 km/h. The wave height is from half a meter to a meter, and the sea condition is light waves.
