Cairo, June 06, 2023, SPA -- Saudi Arabia's Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef visited Egypt's Medicine City and a number of industrial facilities on the second day of his official visit to Egypt.
Minister Al-Khorayef met with the Head of Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) Dr. Tamer Essam, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Gypto Pharma" company, Dr. Amr Mamdouh, and discussed with them ways of boosting industrial integration and the exchange of experiences between both countries.
During his tour of the factory of Al-Arabi Company, which specializes in the field of manufacturing and marketing home and electronic appliances, as well as the factory of Jamjoom Pharma Pharmaceutical Company, Al-Khorayef was briefed on the production lines inside the factories and the technologies used.
The minister also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in a number of targeted sectors and contribute to strengthening trade relations between the two countries.
The visit of the Minister of Industry to Egypt aims to enhance the role of the industrial and mining sectors on the level of the national economy and to encourage international investments in the Kingdom, in addition to reviewing qualitative investment opportunities in the industrial and mining sectors.
