Tunis, June 5, 2023, SPA – The 119th session of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), which concluded yesterday in Tunisia, endorsed a Saudi proposal to launch ALECSO Forum for Business and Partnerships, which will be the first in the history of the organization and the first among Arab and regional organizations. The forum lays the foundation for partnerships and financing in a way that guarantees strengthening ALECSO's work by providing a suitable platform to reach successful partnerships based on bilateral and multilateral agreements to fund ALECSO projects and programs.
Arab member states commended the Saudi proposal regarding the ALECSO Business and Partnerships Forum, which will be held at the organization's headquarters in Tunisia every two years, starting next year.
