Venice, May 19, 2023, SPA -- Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Saudi Minister of Culture, and his Italian counterpart, Gennaro Sangiulian, signed a memorandum of understanding here today to enhance cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The MoU stipulates exchanging expertise, enhancing cooperation in preserving tangible and intangible heritage, as per the relevant UNESCO conventions, launching joint strategic projects in various cultural fields, and enhancing cooperation in combating illicit trafficking of cultural property.
