Jeddah, May 13, 2023, SPA -- Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his generous patronage of the final match for his precious cup for 2022/2023 sports season.
He also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his attendance and honoring the final match held Friday evening at Jeddah-based King Abdullah Sports City Stadium between Al Hilal and Al-Wehda football teams, which ended with Al Hilal's winning.
In a press statement on this occasion, the Minister of Sports said, "The generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince's honoring the final match confirms the great interest and unlimited support provided for the sports sector, which is moving steadily towards achieving ambitions and objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030, through ongoing work, so that Saudi sports will be in the position it deserves locally and globally.
The Minister of Sports congratulated Al Hilal team on the occasion of winning the precious title, wishing the Al-Wehda team the best of luck in the upcoming competitions.
