Riyadh, March 28, 2023, SPA -- The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The report said that thundershowers, accompanied by active winds, will continue to fall on some parts of the Jazan and Asser regions and some southern parts of the Eastern region (the Empty Quarter desert), reducing the horizontal sight. At the same time, fog will be seen in some parts of these regions.
The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea would be northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h, on the central part and at a speed of 15-30 km/h, on the northern and southern parts, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf would be westerly to northwesterly, gradually turning northeasterly on the northern part at a speed of 15-30 km/h, and westerly to northwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h, on the southern part.
